ABOUT US

We are Matthew and Marcia Abraham.  Matthew has been on the land his entire life, being born into a dairy family in the Crows Nest Qld area.  The family stopped dairying and moved to running beef cattle quite a number of years ago.  He has been farming his own beef herd since then over a couple of blocks he purchased in the Mt Binga and Thornville areas.  We bought a smaller block that we are now living on (to get out of town and be closer to our cattle blocks). I wanted to start my own farming enterprise.  I have always wanted sheep and thought I would choose to farm them on our home block.  I saw a feature on Australian Whites in the Qld Country Life newspaper and thought they would be a great breed for us.  After doing lots of research - well the rest is history!  I am thrilled with my choice of both breed and foundation stock, and I am very excited to see what the future will hold for our sheep.
